The Observer of 21 July 2007 reported June Adelle-Lene Spence, 67, retiring after 15 years as principal of Wolmer’s Preparatory, Learning and Enrichment Centre. A board thanks was held 11 July 2007 at the Pegasus.
The paper recorded she was WGS 1952 (St Mary Parish Scholarship) and had taught under Evelyn Skempton at Prep as a girl. “I have come full circle.” VP Adrian Mandara and teacher Maureen Hill were quoted. Lorna Downie succeeded her that September.
