Twenty-five adolescents leaving State care will receive full scholarships for tertiary education from Supreme Ventures Foundation, under its latest investment in the Child Protection and Family Services Agency Transitional Living Programme.

The announcement was made by Chloleen Daley-Muschett, assistant vice-president of public relations and corporate affairs at Supreme Ventures Limited, as she delivered greetings to the TLP Higher Education Day Expo held at Wolmer’s Boys’ School on Thursday — inside the Douglas Orane Auditorium.

When the foundation first partnered with the TLP in 2021 it awarded 20 youths full-ride scholarships. Celebrating 25 years, Daley-Muschett said it was fitting to award 25 adolescents. “When we say full [scholarship], we mean full. So tuition, accommodation, expenses, housing, everything, miscellaneous, we provided for them,” she said.

“So when I say dream supreme, I mean dream supreme. Don’t limit yourself… If it is something that you’re interested in and you have an aptitude to do, go out there, get the information, make yourself visible, and you never know what can happen for you.”

She added: “It depends on your drive, your focus, your own ambition. Those are the qualities that will turn the opportunity that we give to you into achievement for life for you… Don’t limit that imagination. Dream supreme.”

On the same day, CPFSA chief executive Laurette Adams-Thomas told JIS News: “Your starting point does not determine your destination… Be curious, be courageous [and] be intentional about your future.”
