R. Oliver Mair took up office as Jamaica’s Consul-General in Miami in October 2018, covering thirteen southern US states plus the Bahamas and the Cayman Islands. South Florida Caribbean News recorded: “A graduate of Campion College and Wolmers Boys’ High School.”
He holds a BA in management studies and English literature from the University of the West Indies and an MBA from Nova Southeastern University. His LinkedIn profile lists the consular post. He later spoke publicly about Wolmer’s Boys as his school.
