KINGSTON, Jamaica \u2014 Governor-General Patrick Allen has declared May 21 as Wolmer\u2019s Day, in honour of the Wolmer\u2019s Trust Schools\u2019 290th anniversary.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The proclamation, which was made on Friday at King\u2019s House, will make the Wolmer\u2019s Schools, the only such Jamaican institution that has a day named in its honour.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The proclamation was read by Chairman of the Wolmer\u2019s School Board, Lincoln McIntyre at the celebratory church service held at the Kingston Parish Church yesterday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
