Jamaica Observer<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>CIBC Caribbean Jamaica has donated 40 ergonomic chairs to Wolmer\u2019s High School for Girls for their computer lab, to help students studying technology-related subjects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The chairs, designed with lumbar support, will help students sitting for extended periods while practising for their electronic document preparation and management (EDPM) and information technology courses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Principal Coleen Montaque expressed immense gratitude for the sponsorship, noting the significant positive impact it will have on the students\u2019 academic experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWe are elated to receive this generous donation. We asked for some chairs and received all that we needed for our lab. This means we can now accommodate an entire year group for tests and examinations, which is a tremendous help for our students preparing for their CXC and CAPE studies,\u201d said Montaque.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Nigel Holness, managing director of CIBC Caribbean Jamaica, emphasised the bank\u2019s commitment to youth development and education.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cAt CIBC we are deeply invested in the development of youth and their education. We believe that providing the right resources and support can make a significant difference in the academic journey of students.
