Brook spotted him in a swimming pool at a British Army camp in Jamaica, four days before filming began. The picture was shot in Puerto Rico in 1961. It carried an X-certificate; Aubrey and the other boys were barred from screenings.<\/p>\n      <p>He trained at the Drama Centre, London (1967\u201370), played at the Citizens\u2019 Theatre, Glasgow, and later with the Royal Shakespeare Company. Television included <em>Bouquet of Barbed Wire<\/em> (1976). He died at Cranwell, Lincolnshire, on 6 April 2010.
