That is the independent school fact.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Catherine Levy, writing in the <em>Journal of Caribbean Ornithology<\/em> (2019), dates her 1881\u20131973 and calls her an \u201cinveterate Jamaican bird observer.\u201d She published notes with the Natural History Society of Jamaica, wrote <em>Bird-Watching in Jamaica<\/em> (1956; revised 1972, illustrated by Ivy Jeffrey-Smith), and in 1963 founded the Gosse Bird Club with Anna Black. One library record gives birth as 1882.
