The Gleaner of 4 January 2009, \u201cFriends on Friends: Sean\u2019s Humility,\u201d quotes his friend Duncan Messado: they met in first form at Wolmer\u2019s Boys\u2019 School in 1985, both made the swim team that year, and after three years at Wolmer\u2019s they both went to Hillel Academy, \u201cwhere we completed high school.\u201d They played school water polo and later the national team. The Recording Academy\u2019s artist page agrees he played for the Jamaican national water polo team from ages 13 to 21.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Observer of 17 February 2021 reported a tablet handover at Wolmer\u2019s Trust High School for Boys on 15 January 2021. Sean Paul\u2019s own sentence in that piece is: \u201cAs a student at Wolmer\u2019s for a number of years, I was given the opportunity to receive a great education.\u201d Sixteen years earlier the Gleaner of 6 November 2005 had recorded a 2004 Hurricane Ivan gift: Wolmer\u2019s Boys received $500,000.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
grammy.com lists one win: Best Reggae Album, Dutty Rock<\/em>, 46th Annual Grammy Awards, and ten nominations in all.
