Dr Earl Thames, Wolmer\u2019s Boys, Rhodes Scholar 1959"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The <em>Observer<\/em> of 24 March 2017 named \u201cthe Rev Dr Earl Thames of Septimus Street and Wolmer\u2019s Boys\u2019 School, who achieved the distinction in 1959.\u201d The <em>Gleaner<\/em> of 11 October 2016, on Rev. Henry Earl Thames, records Wolmer\u2019s Boys\u2019 School and that he \u201cwas later named Jamaica\u2019s Rhodes Scholar in 1959, before attending Oxford University.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He is not the first old-boy principal of Wolmer\u2019s Boys.
