Jamaica Observer<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The thanksgiving service for Stephen \u201cFranno\u201d Francis, old boy of Wolmer\u2019s Boys and founder of the MVP Track Club, was held on Saturday 15 August 2026 at the National Indoor Sports Centre, Independence Park.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Observer reported on 12 August that Sport Minister Olivia Grange had opened a condolence book ahead of the service. Francis died on 4 July 2026, a day after his 64th birthday.
