The 300th anniversary of that bequest is 21 May 2029. Three years. That is <strong>300 in 3<\/strong>.<\/p>\n    <p>The Trust has named the work of those three years: the Wolmer\u2019s 300 Technology and Multimedia Expansion Programme. Over three years the programme adds a minimum of sixteen new rooms, including a modern lecture hall. Wynter\u2019s public aim: a regional leader in educational technology beyond 2029.<\/p><\/div>\n    <\/div>\n    <p class=\"note\" style=\"margin-top:18px\">As announced on Wolmer\u2019s Day 2024 and 2026. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wolmers.org\/trust\/trust-news\/wolmers-celebrates-297-years-with-bold-vision-for-the-future\/\">297 years \u00b7 the road to 300<\/a> \u00b7 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wolmers.org\/trust\/trust-news\/maroon-and-gold-pride-wolmers-schools-celebrate-295-years\/\">295 years<\/a>.<\/p>\n  <\/div><\/section>\n\n  <section style=\"padding-top:0\"><div class=\"wrap\">\n    <div class=\"split\">\n      <div>\n        <h2>Already begun<\/h2>\n        <div class=\"rule\"><\/div>\n        <p>In November 2024 the three campuses went onto a solar array \u2014 954 panels, US$445,000, led by a personal gift of US$323,000 from Old Boy Lloyd Carney (Boys, 1970s). Savings are in the order of J$16 million a year. Nine hundred and seven LED lights and sixty variable-speed air-conditioning units went in with the panels.<\/p>\n        <p>The Trust said those savings are to be applied to Carney\u2019s object: to make Wolmer\u2019s one of the premier science and technology schools in the world \u2014 Wi-Fi, internet access, science labs, and teaching.
